HISTORY

Mariposa was a graduate student in tele-communications at Metropolis University, working part-time as an intern at the Daily Planet, assigned to Paige Stetler, aka Power Girl. When Paige was fired from the Planet, Mariposa continued covering the tech beat, and also writing a series of articles on the Atomic Skull and even filling in for Lois Lane as managing editor one time.

When Paige returned to the Planet to see if she could learn more about her new foe, Ejecta, Mariposa disclosed that she had already been investigating her for weeks. Paige invited Mariposa to join her for lunch to meet some of her friends to explain what she had discovered. When Mariposa met Steel and Omen back at Paige's apartment, Paige revealed that she was also Power Girl.

Since then Mariposa has been hanging around the heroes and helping them out. She eventually became Editor in Chief of Paige's new business venture, Stargraze and got romantically involved with Natasha Irons.
