- This story is continued from the previous issue.
- This is the final issue of Hawkman Vol. 5.
- Pages 1 through 15 take place immediately after issue #28 and then pages 16 through 20 take place in the 40th century, with Hawkman chronicling some adventures in the Golden and Modern Ages.
- Three Green Lanterns are seen fighting Eclipso in a flashback along with Hawkman and Hawkwoman. However, since Katma-Tui did not join until well after Abin Sur had died either his or her appearance must be considered an error. Since Eclipso appears as well it is most likely Abin Sur's whose appearance is an error.
