Synopsis:
Alexander Quirk has loaded a plane full of zombies, but the titular heroes stop the monsters and prevent the jet from crashing into the Washington Monument. The monument is only slightly damaged. Washi Watanabe, captain of the D.C. Police Special Crimes Unit, tells the heroes that this was Quirk's first attack, and establishes a relationship with the heroes. Hawk speaks with his father, Irwin Hall, Hawk, and indicates that he is unsure of his new partner. His Father is critical of his son's actions, since the monument was slightly damaged. Hawk is further depressed concerning the death of his brother Dove, who is said to have died in "the worst crisis the world's ever seen." Meanwhile his new partner, Dove, is spending time with her love interest Deadman. She reveals a secret to him, something she has not told her partner, relating to Dove. Then, a man and his son are walking past the Washington Monument. Suddenly, one of zombies Hawk fought earlier emerges from the water, but is defeated by an unknown monster. The monster mentions that the zombie smells like Hawk and Dove.
