- Kyle's newfound powers as Ion may be the only thing that can help the JLA stop an alien invasion! But if that's true, why doesn't the JLA approve of what Kyle is doing? Kyle is forced to look at the way his god-like actions are affecting the world around him. If Superman can't convince Kyle to think twice about his world-changing deeds, then who can?
Synopsis:
Superman is very concerned about Kyle's new level of power and says that he thinks 'Ion' has gone too far. He has only been Ion for four days and already cults are forming to follow him and some are beginning to assume that he will come to their aid. After a talk with Sentinel, who has also had to deal with being the weapon rather than the one wielding it (both having internalized the power of a Green Lantern ring), Kyle decides to seek out his father.
