Synopsis:

Jason Blood arrives at Gotham Airport to catch a flight to Star City - he suddenly decides to take a later one, which is just as well since the plane he should have caught explodes on take-off.
Meanwhile, in the batcave, Batman is examining Green Arrow, with Spoiler observing. Batman is not convinced that his friend has really returned from the dead, a supposition which is borne out by the physical evidence - Arrow's body lacks many scars which Batman knows for certain he should have. Nevertheless, Spoiler is disturbed, to say the least, at Batman's suspicions. Green Arrow suddenly awakens (Batman recognises that his right hook, at least, hasn't changed much) and Spoiler is sent away so that Batman can talk to Arrow alone.
Batman explains to Green Arrow that he is supposed to be dead, and that the last memories he seems to have are from ten years ago. He shows Green Arrow the reports of his death, and various other scenes that he doesn't remember, including his battle with Hal Jordan during the 'Zero Hour' crisis. Both men are determined to find out about the gap in Arrow's memories, though Arrow himself still will not believe that he is dead.
As they make their way to Star City, Mia Dearden considers learning to use the bow and arrow, though she finds it a little harder to use than she expected. Her experiments are interrupted by Black Canary and Arsenal, 'looking for a friend.' Batman and Arrow visit the old Queen mansion, now derilect, and discover the cut-off point in Green Arrow's memories. It looks like they are making progress, but they are interrupted by the demon Etrigan, who says he has come to reclaim the undead Green Arrow...
