HISTORY

Field Marshal Gensui violently seized control of the planet Kormorax, home to two intelligent races. Once his power was consolidated, he began a ruthless campaign against one of the native races, either enslaving or executing them. His tyrannical rule was enforced by brutal death squads. With Koromax fully under his command, Gensui then forced the enslaved race to construct a Dyson sphere around their planet, a project intended to grant him unchecked power.

The Red Lantern Corps became aware of Gensui's growing threat to the sector and attempted to infiltrate Koromax. One of their members impersonated an acquaintance of Gensui's, the pirate Barg, but Gensui already had the advantage; Barg had forewarned him of the Red Lanterns and was already present on Koromax.

Gensui's overconfidence proved to be his downfall. He failed to eliminate the Lanterns, who quickly broke free from his grasp. He was slain by Red Lantern Bleez.
