Synopsis: - On September 2nd, Batman finds 4 dogs, with card symbols on them: King, Queen, Jack and Ace. On September 23rd, Batman and James Gordon find 3 dogs dead and the final dog, Ace is taken to the Gotham Pound. On September 25th, Alfred requests to adopt Ace from the pound, and an employee skeptically gives Alfred the dog. On September 26th, Bruce finds Ace and until December 14th, Alfred tries to train Ace to behave. Bruce decides that Ace can't be good anymore, based on what he's been through because of the Joker. Then, Alfred finally gets Ace to sit. On December 19th, Ace wants to help Batman after he comes home, beaten and Bruce finally let's Ace be kept in the family. On December 25th, Ace tries on a mask that Alfred got him for Christmas and the story ends.

Synopsis: - Batman tests out his new tracking system, which can help him get to threats faster. As he heads to Champion Square, but instead of finding a new villain, he sees 6 citizens doing an acrobatic show. He enjoyed the peaceful moment, but then the system tracked automatic gunfire, so he left to save his city once more.

Synopsis: - Batman find Harley Quinn and agrees to take her to city limits. As they go, Harley Quinn starts singing as they pass by Gotham City citizens helping one another until they get to Coney Island. Harley Quinn is shocked Batman drove her all the way home instead of sticking to his promise. Harley Quinn reunites with her friends as the story closes.

Synopsis: - Bruce Wayne and James Gordon announce that Barry O'Neill's annual winter wonderland is open for the kids of Gotham. Then, the nice night is interrupted by Minister Blizzard who says that Barry O'Neill's work has been praised while his work trying to bring back an ice age is not. Bruce suits up and defeats Minister Blizzard. Comparing what he has done for Gotham to what Barry O'Neill has done disappoints him, but Duke Thomas cheers him up with a Batman symbol shaped chocolate. Meanwhile at Barry O'Neill's apartment, a person called The Stag appears and kills him. The story ends with an ominous message saying, "The Stag is Coming in 2017..."

Synopsis: - A small dose of fear gas is released in Gotham City, and Batman investigates at Arkham Asylum. At Arkham Asylum, Haunter has planned her escape and leaves Arkham after spending 20 years in there. She visits Scarecrow, and Batman finds and stops her and Scarecrow from doing anymore harm to Gotham City. He releases an antidote on Gotham which cures the citizens.
