HISTORY
The criminal Agarushnawokliag, an empathic leech, was among the many dangerous escapees from the Sciencells on Oa during Relic's devastating attack. While his prior criminal history remains unrevealed, Agarushnawokliag was known to carry a blaster, as the constant bombardment of others' emotions often drained him. He paradoxically claims a desire for solitude, yet consistently draws close to attack and feed on victims.
Green Lantern Hal Jordan eventually caught up with the creature in Space Sector 687. Agarushnawokliag swiftly and violently attacked the ring wielder, rapidly gaining physical size and strength while simultaneously draining his opponent's willpower. Despite this formidable assault, Jordan was ultimately able to subdue the fugitive.
Agarushnawokliag was then brought to the Green Lantern Corps headquarters on Mogo. There, he managed to draw power from Mogo's immense willpower, using it to escape the construct holding him. However, this newfound source of strength was short-lived. The fear exuded by Jordan's visiting nephew unexpectedly shocked Agarushnawokliag into a profound physical and mental withdrawal from the situation. He was easily subdued once more and subsequently returned to a Sciencell.[1]
POWERS AND WEAPONS
Agarushnawokliag is typically of diminutive size. However, by absorbing the emotions of others, he can rapidly increase in size, mass and strength. He also utilizes his hair which appears to have some prehensile ability to physically attack enemies and absorb their emotion.
